Illustration Friday: Fat #2 - Hard-boiled Frog

Well, I wasn't really painting this for IF but realized that it can fit this week’s theme so I’m submitting it again.

I use to have a pet frog named "Onihei". (Named after a Japanese hard-boiled samurai detective in a popular TV-show over there.) He was a horned frog that could grow pretty big and fatty, but after 5 years he started shrinking down due to my poor frog caring skill, and then passed away(sob).

I’m sorry Onihei, I hope you’re in a better place!

W.I.P. no title... just a face, yet.

Just a head I was working on the past 2 days. My focus this time was to create photo realistic eyes. They're not perfect yet but getting there.

I'm going to add nicer normal map and such later.

Canada Post is back!

Since I was very sad about my Canada Post model last night, I re-created it today. I know, I know, I should be doing something else but still.

The building behind it is where I live.

After finishing a test render, Maya crashed. And the file’s gone forever… to the evil Maya world. It only took 5 minutes to create this and I was just messing around but still… pisses me off. R.I.P, my pretty Canada post…
